Ashtray anyone?
"I sent this to Wood Fired Coffee before putting it in here - assuming there must be something wrong with the batch. It is now been over a month and I received no reply to the email, so assume that the coffee normally tastes this bad. Feedback on your coffee. The Bearded Barista was OK and I had no problem drinking it. The Wood Fired beans left an ashtray taste that was pretty much undrinkable. We tried a few times, but it is really not good. I am not sure how your descriptions are worked out, but there is nothing “smooth” or “delicate balance” about it. I will probably grind it and use it to keep the cane toads out of the garden, it is certainly acidic enough to keep them away."
